Available originally on Kickstarter, a sculpture of jurassic proportions, designed for predatory alphas to display and show their dominance over the world. This skeleton Tyrannosaurus rex sculpture, Lean and Mean, is almost 3 feet long and was inspired by Sue, one of the largest known Terra Firma carnivore. The creative vision of Artist Mike Akins portrays this Tyrannosaurus rex in its attack stance.
The original sculpture is carved from basswood, metal, epoxies, and clay. Cast in bronze with a limited edition of 56 by Tim Parks of TW Bronze in Enterprise, Oregon, one of the premier bronze craftsman in the US. The patinas on this bronze are dark rich black and highlights of various colors to convey this extinct massive creature.
You can make the ultimate art statement by adding this bronze to your home, office or man cave collection. By displaying this bronze sculpture you will strike up jurassic conversations with guests, colleagues and visitors.
Also available is a limited edition digital art print of a Styracosaurus being discovered by a Tyrannosaurus rex in small pond. The Hunt Begins by Mike Akins.
